Fueling your body before a workout is important. But when is the perfect time to grab that quick meal and what should it be?
Dieticians suggest if it is a small/ lighter meal have it 30 minutes before, if it is a heavier meal, have it almost 3 hours before. When it comes to making your meal, you want to opt for healthier, more wholesome snacks than anything riddled with processed fats and lots of ingredients.

Since being a work from home mom these few months i have put on some kgs and have decided to increase my workouts. This also meant having to change my way of eating. Smoothies are my all time favourite because i get to add my collagen and its easily digestable.
The banana and peanut butter sounds yummy so i will definately try that:)
Dont usually eat before as I feel too uncomfortable, maybe the bar. Usually hungry after.
I love the hard boiled egg with a slice of toast
Dried fruit with mixed nuts will try this. I usually have a smoothie tho, yoghurt, milk, fruit and top with some chia seeds

I prefer eating a banana with some water before a workout. Too much eating before my workout makes me feel sloppy and uncomfortable. Once workout is done, I have my supper containing all food groups

I love having banana with peanut butter & oats with fruits before I workout. It gives me the energy I need to get through my 1 hour workout session. I usually have my smoothie afterwards.
