Look 5 Years Younger with this 2 Minute Skincare Routine

In just 2 months you can look up to 5 years younger by following this simple skincare routine by Dr Youn.

Dr. Anthony Youn is I’m a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Award-Winning Author, and Anti-Aging Expert. As a successful plastic surgeon for twenty years who has performed tens of thousands of successful cosmetic procedures, Dr. Youn came to realize that the key to true beauty lies in a holistic approach to youth. Surgery should be a last resort.

Cometic treatment is one way to go if you want to look younger, but it is also possible to shave years off at a low cost.

America’s Holistic Plastic Surgeon Dr Youn claimed you can look “five years younger” in just four minutes a day.

“This is probably the simplest yet most effective skincare regimen that there may be.”

And Dr. Youn’s method is not something that will take you all day it’s a simple 2-minute task.

Dr. Youn advised against buying products that promise to eradicate wrinkles and take years off your age immediately. Instead, implement a simple, daily routine for more realistic results.

Morning Step 1: Wash your face

In the morning, for younger-looking skin, women should be using a cleanser that’s “targeted” to their skin type. If your face feels tight after washing – it means the product is too harsh for your skin and it is removing too many natural oils from your skin.

Those with dry skin may benefit from a “milkier”, hydrating cleanser, while those with oily skin would be better off with a foaming cleanser.

Morning Step 2: Apply an antioxidant

After your morning cleanse, Dr. Youn recommended applying an antioxidant to fight free radicals. Antioxidants will protect your skin during the day from things like air pollution, car exhaust, and even some of the bad foods you may be eating.

The most popular anti-oxidant is Vitamin C which is used in most skin care products BUT make sure you get a Vitamin C that has not been oxidized – and always keep your Vitamin C away from the sun.

Morning Step 3. Apply Sunscreen

Next, apply sunscreen – SPF3O or more – to protect the skin from sun damage which is a main cause of premature ageing.

Evening Step 1: Wash your face

As for the evening, Dr. Youn explained that cleaning the skin is an absolute must. “This is important because all day our skin is developing oil, we’re getting grime, pollution, dirt, all of that stays in our skin.” On top of this, many women wear makeup, which can also clog the pores of the skin.”

[*If you are ‘lazy’ and you only want to wash your face once a day – make sure you wash it at night.]

Evening Step 2: Apply a Retin-A or Retinol

Next, Dr Youn recommended a Retin-A or Retinol anti-aging cream – unless your skin is very dry, in which case opt for a growth factor cream. For a slightly cheaper option, you can invest in a serum with peptides.

Once every 3 days for those with normal skin – and once a week for those who have sensitive skin  – Dr. Youn recommends exfoliating the face.

As we age, the skin takes longer to shed, meaning it can have a dryer look. Exfoliating with speed up this process and make the skin softer.

Dr Youn’s morning and evening skincare routines should take just two minutes each, meaning less than five minutes of the day is dedicated to skincare.

Am really having a hard time finding the right cleanser for my face. I have combination skin and generally my skin is very sensitive. I always make it a point that I use sunscreen everyday. I have fine lines under my eyes but everything else is fine. Would love to try out something new that will not dry my skin out or make me darker.

I try to take care of my face by washing it morning and night. I never leave my home without Sun screen. Thank you for Dr Young’s advice. I would like to try this routine and exfoliate every 3 days.

I’m a soap and water type of person, not much of a routine when it comes to my face care regime. Looking for something that will help with my dry facial skin as my skin is flaking by my eyebrows and nose. Will definitely give this a try
