Thank you sooo much for the tips, especially the one to wash baby new clothes, before the baby wears them to avoid skin irritation will defenately do that.
20 odd years ago I washed my babies clothes by hand with Sunlight green bar, steri nappy on whites that needed bleaching (on my clothes too) and a wee bit of stay soft. It was economical and worked cos my eldest had skin allergies. This meant only pampers (no other brand) as he had a weeping eczema and Nappy changes had to be regular and sometimes more frequent to avoid irritation. Bath time was a once over with baby Aqueous and rinsed it off or top and tail. Sometimes I just let him play in the bath and it washed off as he played. Fortunately my regime for washing his clothes saved the day.
