With winter and lockdown, even the most organised women might have struggled to stick to a routine for fitness and health. Now that the rules have eased up it’s time to get moving and to keep your body healthy and fit, not only for yourself but for your family and kids too.

When we feel good we not only improve our emotional wellbeing and physical wellbeing, but we automatically transfer these good habits to our partners and children – so it’s a win-win, and it starts with us as parents.

A little motivation always helps, so we found some inspiring females on Instagram. Some are moms and some are not, they are all ages and all shapes, all beautiful women! There is something for everyone and should be at least one who inspires you, give them a follow, and get started with small changes.

#FIERCEcommunity, this is a friendly reminder to please stretch before AND after your workouts. Stretching before your workout can dramatically impact your form and improve your flexibility! Stretching after not only FEELS amazing, but it will help with muscle repair – AKA, could help you walk the next day!! Even though I’m not working out right now, I still LOVE a stretch to start and end my day. On the @SWEAT app, I have a ‘Full-Body Flow’ and ‘Limber Lower Body’ stretching program – so next time you’re working out, give it a try! For now here’s a good example of why stretching is so important. What Inspires you to care for yourself the way you do? Release hip flexors/hips (perfect for people who sit a lot, drive a lot, spin/bike, run). What can you do with a Swiss Ball during pregnancy❓Here’s a sneak peak of tomorrow’s IGTV workout, which will go live at 9am! 😃👍🏾 – Using a birthing ball during labour has been known to reduce stress and assist with opening and releasing the muscles in and around the pelvis, encouraging baby to descend down the birth canal. 😃👍🏾 – During pregnancy they can also be a great tool to challenge your core in a safe yet effective way!     Hi all motivation is great, I will try this again.. During lockdown being a single Mom and working from hom is a challenge in itself. You work longer hours. You start cooking early enough so you household can have supper at a reasonable time. You still have to clean up a bit and you so exhausted there is barely time for excersize. After what time should you not excersize? Cause I will do it late evening. Please help

    This is so amazing. This is what I have been looking for. After having three kids, I’ve decided I don’t want more and work on my body. I am currently weighing more than I was when I was pregnant. I really want to lose weight and having other mother’s and women to look up to will give me the strength to do it.
